Sea spinning reel with ATD drag system

The DAIWA BG reels combine the highest resilience and retrieving power with a silky smooth running and high-quality design. The HardBodyZ reel body made of aluminum ensures a torsion-resistant bearing of the Digigear II gear and optimal power transmission during the fight with the fish. The ABS aluminum spool has been specially designed for braided lines with a rubber ring in the middle, which completely prevents the smooth braided lines from slipping under load on the spool.

The BG reels are coated in a special “no paint” surface process in such a way that no paint can flake off the reel body, even with heavy use and in salt water.

The crank is screwed firmly into the reel body and is twist-proof and has no play – ideal when large forces have to be transferred when sea fishing.

From size 4500, these reels are of course ideally suited as strong pilk reels and for uncompromising fishing for catfish. From this size, the handle is turned over manually.
