Baitcasting reel with T-wing system

With the TATULA, DAIWA is continuing the development of the T-Wing System (TWS). The TWS improves the casting performance by up to 10% compared to conventional baitcast reels. This is caused by the lower frictional resistance in the cast, as the line reaches a significantly larger angle and thus less resistance when unwinding from the reel. When spooling, the T-construction is folded into the reel body and the line is spooled up via the normal line guide. This new generation of the TWS system caused quite a stir when it was introduced at ICAST 2013 in the USA.

In addition, the spool of the TATULA runs off extremely easily and ensures optimum casting distances. The rest of the equipment is also exceptional for a baitcast reel in this price range and convinces with many other fine details – the new Air Rotation system is particularly noteworthy – the gearing is almost imperceptible when cranking and the reel winds up extremely easily and evenly.

The new super high speed model with 8:1:1 gear ratio and TWS system. Due to the high gear ratio you get a line retrieval of 86cm per turn of the crank and can give your bait completely new movement patterns.

TATULA 200HSL
The TATULA 200HSL was developed in response to a request for greater line capacity – the TATULA 200SHL has the same body size as the 100HSL models, but holds significantly more line thanks to the deep spool – ideal when thicker braided line is predominantly used for crankbait fishing. The TWS system improves casting performance by up to 10% compared to conventional baitcast reels. The Air Rotation gear can hardly be felt when cranking and ensures that the spool runs extremely smoothly.
